Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American performer, singer and actress. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. After she participated in an event at school and was given high praise for her singing at the age of 9, the girl began to grow more confident. She not only gained confidence because of the experience however, she also re-evaluate her career goals. In 1992 she graduated with her diploma from the New York's Julliard School. She started her professional journey at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC, she gained greater recognition. As a professional singer She has also recorded one single and an extended piece. In her role as an activist, she works tirelessly to promote LGBT equality.
