Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American actress from America. Following her film debut during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack actors and starred on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her role was featured on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama which followed her first success. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the top high school film of all-time. While the budget for the film was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. Also, she began to appear on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. It was a show for teenagers that began to air in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she appeared. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about the superhero X-Men that she appears in as in a role as a guest. Her amazing performance has earned her numerous awards including her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
