Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actress. She began her acting career in the early 1980s. She became famous for the role she played as Siobhan Ryan from 1982-1986 on the daytime drama Ryan's Hope. Her most well-known character is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural crime drama. Crime Scene Investigation (1900-13) and Immortality (2015 TV Film). Her role was reprised by the subsequent sequel Vegas (2022-present). Other roles she has played include K.C. She won the Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series, in recognition of her character as Koloski on China Beach, an ABC Drama China Beach from 1988 to 1991. She is also known for parts in the TV series Under the Dome and Intelligence as well as the movies Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007).
